Mission
Our mission is to contribute to human development, with emphasis on local issues. In order to pull off this goal we promote, implement and carry out actions related to culture, environment, tourism, risk management by natural perils, in a process based on participation and equality whereby national and local capabilities are promoted, as well as specific solutions so as to improve living conditions.
Vision
According to our vision, poverty, inequality, pollution and natural disasters have their origin in the prevailing economic and social policies, as well as the irrational use of natural resources, among other factors. The most efficient way to reverse this situation is by implementing actions which contribute to the transformation of its causes.Changes can be achieved through the support, solidarity and international cooperation with programs, projects and activities identified by countries, communities and local players in favor of the most economically and socially vulnerable people.
